“It’s the petty things that matter the most in business” One of the most profound advices I’ve ever gotten in my entrepreneurial journey so far… M Kanchan- My Professor, Mentor, Advisor, Host and what not. She wore so many hats that I can’t even keep a count of. Room No.- 213 in Thapar School of Management, the cabin with the most peaceful vibes on the campus. If you go inside and mam is there, you’ll always be offered something to eat, the cabin was never empty. I feel so blessed that I had the privilege of having a person of her stature to help me with anything and everything whenever I felt stuck. I’ll miss the conversations I had with you, mam.. My heart just sinks on the thought that we can’t have any more calls. “ Bachche, you have to do everything in a startup, even the Jhadoo-Poncha.. A Lonesome Fight...

Depression isn’t something tangible, it’s an invisible bite... A pain unseen & unbearable- a lonesome fight! Smiles are worn as masks to cover the condition but actually nothing seems to excite... It’s a phase where your life seems fucked up & nothing looks alright... The voices in the head are screaming at their best and it explodes as if someone planted a dynamite.... You try to get out of it desperately but your grip over it is too light, In those moments of sheer numbness, you just want the world to be quiet... This is when the extremes happen because you’re caught up in such a plight... Exiting out seems the only option that can take the burden off the chest & make it light.... This is what depression can do to you...  the situation is that tight! Someone sitting right next to you could be going through that... and you won’t be able to see it even in broad daylight! That’s what depression is.... A lonesome Fight!

Happy International Women’s Day…

She’s a mother, a sister, a wife & a friend… The count of the roles she play will never end… Getting up early to prepare food & manage the place… She’s running 24*7 to keep up with the world’s pace! She do everything it takes for the people she cares about & expects nothing in return… What the world has given to her is the torture for dowry & extreme fire burn! Still, she keeps everyone else’s needs as her priority & do the needed… She herself can sleep hungry… but won’t sleep until everyone in the family has been feeded! Firstly as a mother she nurtures us, then as a sister she supports… Then as a friend she helps in all the situations, then as a wife she always escorts… All of this cycle begins when a girl is born… But, even today very few people exist who celebrate the birth of a girl child & don’t mourn… From the first day of our life, till the very end, a woman is there by our side… But, don’t know why even today ...

That Depressing phase...

At times, you don’t know why… but, Life becomes a mess… You’re such a moron… that’s all you guess! Life becomes spark-less... & there is restlessness all around… You want to run away… but something keeps you bound! You feel directionless & emptiness from inside… & you have no idea how to express your side! You can’t enjoy anything because the will to do isn’t there… And you’re back to square one… thinking Life isn’t fair! Fighting against your own self is the toughest battle you’ll ever fight… Especially during this phase, when there’s no hope within sight! That’s the time when you need to make yourself a priority… Take good care of yourself & things will get better… that’s a surety! Do whatever that makes you feel at ease & comfortable… Stay in bed all day or eat whatever you like on the table… Nothing lasts forever… whether it’s good or bad… So, calm your nerves down… don’t get mad! Talk to your family & frie...

A lonesome Night...

It was the night of the Full Moon… Shining alone in the sky… Surrounded by clouds grey, black & maroon! As I looked up at the night sky… A different kind of feeling surrounded… Putting my heart as ease… Feeling so light like it was never bounded! My heart whispered- it’s a perfect time to reflect on the life & way I'd been living.. Just trying out things… Without really believing! Then, there comes a big black cloud & covers up the whole moon… It’s all black out now… & i feel so loon! Just when I was about to lose all the hope…There comes a ray piercing the cloud right through its heart… Making me believe that no matter what some things can never be contained in a cart! It might take some time… But the light will shine through… You don't have to give up… Just keep on trying & it'll certainly do!
