Happy International Women’s Day…



She’s a mother, a sister, a wife & a friend…
The count of the roles she play will never end…

Getting up early to prepare food & manage the place…
She’s running 24*7 to keep up with the world’s pace!

She do everything it takes for the people she cares about & expects nothing in return…
What the world has given to her is the torture for dowry & extreme fire burn!

Still, she keeps everyone else’s needs as her priority & do the needed…
She herself can sleep hungry… but won’t sleep until everyone in the family has been feeded!

Firstly as a mother she nurtures us, then as a sister she supports…
Then as a friend she helps in all the situations, then as a wife she always escorts…

All of this cycle begins when a girl is born…
But, even today very few people exist who celebrate the birth of a girl child & don’t mourn…

From the first day of our life, till the very end, a woman is there by our side…
But, don’t know why even today the biggest issue we deal with is female foeticide!

Without her existence, the world can’t exist…
Family members are like fingers… a woman takes the charge & turn that into a solid fist!

The role she plays in our lives is irreplaceable & the idea of someone else playing her role seems absurd…
Still we don’t realize her value… when she goes out, she’s teased, raped & tortured…

Even after going through so much… still she smiles…
She’s so selfless that she can sleep feeling thirsty but if someone else needs water, she’ll walk miles!!

All the things she do for free, we can’t do even if we are paid… Pride matters a lot to MEN!!
The only category of human who can do anything needed without any selfish motive, in this world, is the WOMEN!!

At times, you don’t know why… but, Life becomes a mess… You’re such a moron… that’s all you guess! Life becomes spark-less... & there is restlessness all around… You want to run away… but something keeps you bound! You feel directionless & emptiness from inside… & you have no idea how to express your side! Its 25 th December- Christmas!!! One of the favorite occasions of the kids! I still remember the time when I was too young & used to feel that Santa is going to come &  fulfill  all my wishes! :’) I’m sure, all of us used to believe that at some point of time in our earlier days!             Things changed, times changed & we have changed!
