INDEPENDENT INDIA?

Facebook, WhatsApp, BBM, emails, text messages- all are overflowing with lengthy messages wishing Happy Independence day, containing phrases like- Proud to be an Indian & Jai Jawaan- Jai Kisaan!!
So many people on whatsapp & Facebook have changed their DP to National flag! Are we really so proud being in India?
NO!! Not everyone is proud of what India is. With hundreds of rape cases being reported every day, & so many murders being committed every hour, this response is obvious!

Everyone wants to settle in some foreign country after completing their education. People are here not by choice, but because they no other choice yet!
JAI JAWAAN- JAI KISAAN!!- doesn’t really suit our country where the jawaans don’t even get half of what they actually deserve……… where the kisaans are living in such a plight, so many committing suicide & so0 many dying of hunger, every damn day!!
Not everyone watched the parade today, but had it been some India vs. Pak match, everyone would have been on their toes. How patriotic!

Is this what we call being free???”

We aren’t free yet completely, just the power has moved from the hands of the British to the hands of some wealthy Indians!

“When money starts talking, even the crap starts walking!”

Still most of us won’t care & will simply comment- “Sb chlta h”
That’s why we are still developing country & not a developed one! The problem is our mentality. We are taught it’s better to cheat than to fail & a little unfairness is fair! See around yourself while travelling in a bus or a train... you’ll find people telling their kids to say that their age is 8, not 10. This then enters their mindset & they behave no differently, hence, nothing ever changes!

Changing our DP isn’t going to help the country, changing our mentality surely will!
It has to be taught to everyone that what’s wrong is wrong & “Sb chalta hai” isn’t acceptable argument!
When everyone will feel that it’s better to fail than to cheat & Victory via cheat won’t satisfy, India will surely be a better place to live!

The day a girl is able to roam everywhere, every time…
India would be free…!

The day there are no more riots in the name of religion, India will be free..!!

The day talent will be given preference over recommendation, India would be free!

Till then you can keep celebrating Independence Day, but India is yet to be free!

At times, you don’t know why… but, Life becomes a mess… You’re such a moron… that’s all you guess! Life becomes spark-less... & there is restlessness all around… You want to run away… but something keeps you bound! You feel directionless & emptiness from inside… & you have no idea how to express your side! Its 25 th December- Christmas!!! One of the favorite occasions of the kids! I still remember the time when I was too young & used to feel that Santa is going to come &  fulfill  all my wishes! :’) I’m sure, all of us used to believe that at some point of time in our earlier days!             Things changed, times changed & we have changed!
